Splash Reports on Michael Jacksons death - Its like the FA Cup last.

However, TBs investigation and commonsense research into the situation makes it extremely clear that TMZ was ahead of the curve because they took the same reports everybody else had and extrapolated from them that Jackson had died. Put simply, TMZs figurehead Harvey Levin and his ill-wishing celebrity ridicule team closed their eyes, put all their money on the number 86 and held on tight till they found out they were correct. Sound like a conspiracy concept ? Talking of conspiracy concepts, theres case law in network news and one of the best conspiracy concepts of our time.

Word that Michael Jackson had been rushed to an infirmary in full cardiac arrest was a shocker when it was text-messaged to us yesterday afternoon straight after two pm. More surprising was the strap line that appeared on the Drudge Report, stamped at 1:43 pm Pacific Standard Time:. 2 mins later, Drudge switched to Code Red and all caps in a red title accompanied by his flashing police light:. In the meantime , other stories associations were reporting that Jackson had been brought to UCLA Medical Center in full cardiac arrest but no-one would say he was dead.

There were reports he wasn't respiring when medics turned up at his home, and other reports the paramedics were performing CPR in the ambulance. All signs pointing to a dead celebrity but no confirmation. That, though Jackson wasn't officially confirmed dead until 2:26 pm. Even after 2:30 pm, The LA Times internet site and CNN were reporting that Jackson was hospitalized in a deep coma. At 2:44 pm, it beat rivals by informing the arena of his passing, which happened at 2:26 pm Yet the gutter sensibilities of the site, which is owned and controlled by divisions of Time Warner, and its accompanying syndicated Television show apparently made rivals nauseous.
