Montag files for separation from Pratt

But if it's all a ploy for attention, at least they are actually committed to the lie : Us Weekly reports that Montag officially filed for separation Tues. from Pratt. A county clerk confirmed to Us that Montag filed the papers in a Santa Monica, Calif.

Of course, it would not be a genuine separation if the snappers were not there to capture all of it : The 23-year-old was snapped entering and exiting the courthouse without her ring. Montag and Pratt nevertheless, are still one or two steps away from divorce ; the legal separation just implies her financial takings will belong only to her from this point on.
