The show will air Mon. nighton Fox. Not only did the 15-year-old Cyrus host the awards and perform her hit single "7 Things" she walked away with 3 surfboard prizes to add to her collection. "Hannah Montana" was picked as Choice Television Show, Comedy, whilst Cyrus was singled out as Choice Television Actress, Comedy ; she was also honored as Choice Music Female Artist. The New Jersey threesome walked away with 6 surfboards, for Choice Music Single, Breakout Group, Music Love Song, Summer Song, Male Hottie and Red Carpet Fashion Icon Male. 6 awards were also doled out to the CW soap "Gossip Girl" and its stars ; not only was the show singled out as Choice Television Show Drama and Television Breakout Show, Blake Lively was named Choice Television Actress Drama and Television Breakout Star Female, whilst Chace Crawford took the Television Breakout Star Male prize. Ed Westwick, who plays antagonistic antihero Chuck Bass, was voted Choice Television Villain.

In the meantime , "American Idol" won the prize for Choice Television Fact Music Competition, whilst this season's winner and runner-up, David Cook and David Archuleta, also walked away with surfboards : Cook, for Choice Television Male Fact Variety Star and Archuleta for Most Fanatic Fans. MTV's "The Hills" was the winner of the Choice Television Celebrity Fact respect, whilst Lauren Conrad claimed the Choice Television Female Fact Variety Star prize.
