A dating Net site has inducted hunky actor Chace Crawford to stump for their product.

According to Crawfords rep Evelyn Karamanos, the company never asked for authorization to use the 23-year-old's mug. "They had no right to use his name or photo," she informed the Daily Reports on Tues. , adding, "He isn't the spokesperson.". Karamanos has asked the site to get rid of her client's photograph from the ad instantly. Crawford's role as sensitive rich kid Nate Archibald on the hit CW series catapulted him to celebrity last year. The actor experimented in modeling before his massive break, but Karamanos asserted she has "no idea" Celebrity Gossip where the photograph, which seems to be current, came from. Alas, Crawford's oblivious venture into the arena of online dating was simply a case of mistaken identity, according to Steven Sesar, VP of selling for WooMe. "Upon notification the image wasn't a real user but a known celebrity, we straight away pulled the ad in query and deactivated the user's profile that contained the fake image.".
