LA artist Shepard Fairey presented the first of his oft-copied illustration of Barack Obama it's red, white and blue and contains the word "Hope" to the nation's Portrait Studio in Washington, D.C, on Sat. . Copies of the image showed up on posters, coffee mugs, T-shirts, even hats in the presidential campaign. The portrait is in the studio's new arrivals section and may be part of its permanent collection. It's no Picasso, but a painting by Russian PM Vladimir Putin sold for more $1 million at a charity auction in his family town of St Petersburg.
