Their plan is to get "citizen journalists" -- that is, beginners -- to send in their snapsots of famous people, and even get paid. Sounds excellent, particularly if you got a celphone pic of one of the genuine

'...Their plan is to get...'

Housewives you would like to sell.

But there's an hideous wrinkle -- and trust me, it isn't on one of those suspiciously taut-skinned women. "We'll put the photographers into Chapter 11 because we are celebrity-friendly," founder Jordan Osher told Adams. "Any negative photograph, we contact the famous person thru their reps and give them first opportunity to get it outright.". This is "celebrity-friendly"? If they have got a photograph of a star in a shameful or unflattering position, they offer to SELL it to the star? And if the Celebrity Gossip star does not purchase it first, then they print it? Funny, threatening to print a picture unless somebody pays you does not sound awfully friendly to me. In reality, it does not even sound particularly legal. And it may be engaging to see what occurs the 1st time someone -- and their lawyers -- decide to call them on it.
