'Gossip Girl's' Leighton Meester cast in country music drama.

"Love do not let Me Down" is fixing up to have an all-star cast. The tale is a rising music star ( Hedlund ) groups up with a fallen music star ( Paltrow ). Their relationship is complex by the fallen star's manager-husband ( McGraw ) and a beauty-queen-turned-country-singer ( Meester ).

apparently though McGraw and Hedlund play romantic rivals in "Love do not let Me Down," they played dad and child in the flick version of "Friday Night Lights." McGraw can also now be seen as Sandra Bullock's hubby in "The Blind Side.". This is flick will definitely help Leighton Meester's growing singing career and likely expose her abilities to a different audience than the "Gossip Girl" set.
