Gossip Girl star Blake Animated almost destitute after Super Bowl

Panic-stricken Gossip Girl star Blake Animated was Super Bowled over when 3am spared her a night at streetlevel.

America's lover had only just touched down in Miami with her gridiron-mad co-stars Chace Crawford and Ed Westwick. But while the boys were fixed with 1,500-a-night apartments at five-star hostels with Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, nobody troubled to book a room for Blake. And on potentially one of the most hectic nights of the millennium for Miami's hotel industry, things were not looking too optimistic.

So there she was, despondent in the lobby of our fabulous three-star gaff The Catalina hotel with nowhere to remain just hours before Super Bowl kick-off. That is when us big-hearted girls made a decision to step in and save the night for Blake, all weepy and bothered with her bag. We strolled over and offered our room to the 22-year-old - and that was a gesture which was much appreciated. She announced : "You'd help? You girls are so sweet. We told her it was no difficulty - we'd bunk down with some chums further on down the hall. She went on : "I just needed to come out here so badly as Super Bowl is such a lot of fun. I just could not miss it, the atmosphere is fantastic. I have only just flown in from New Orleans and I presumed I'd just turn up and get somewhere where my mates are staying but everything has gone. I thought I'd have to turn around and go back home. If there's anything whatsoever I am able to do for you ". Erm, OK, are we able to go in your place to the DirecTV Celebrity Beach Bowl? And so she headed to the roof pool while we observed Chace and Twilight hunk Taylor Lautner diving about in the sand - all in the name of American soccer. Which was no holds barred war as Chace was compelled to face off against co-star Ed.
