'Gossip Girl' unearths Serena's father : William Baldwin.

He is down to appear in a couple of episodes of the series, most likely beginning in April. "Gossip Girl" returns from its winter hiatus on March eight. Serena ( Blake Vibrant ) has spent a major portion of the season hunting for her pa ( when she was never wrecking the unions of newly elected baby-kissers ), Celebrity Gossip while unbeknownst to her till the show's last few episodes, her mom Lily ( Kelly Rutherford ) had been anonymously keeping letters from pop. Baldwin played Patrick Darling on ABC's "Dirty Sexy Money" ; his other fresh credits include "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" and "The Squid and the Whale.". And note to the "Gossip Girl" casting agents : well done. From a physical-resemblance standpoint, we are able to simply see Blake Vibrant being Baldwin and Rutherford's kid.
