When season three picks back up on Monday night, Mar eight, we are hoping to see all of the trappings which make your teen-centric drama a triumph. But we do have some tiny requests -- some that we think could enliven things up and others that will maybe stop a "GG" burnout. The dark and confusing Chuck Bass is maybe the most fascinating character on the show and takes each single scene he is in ( that is, in our humble opinion ). Love has made him a little soft ; we think it is time to harden Chuck up again. "Sex and the City" had it right when they made New York the 5th main personality on the show. N. Y. has much more to supply than a varsity campus, and we would like to see a return to the "GG" characters living it up in the city that never sleeps ( instead of putting us to sleep with some of the snoozer frat-tastic / dorm-centric storylines we saw last Q4 ). We do not think that we see enough of Constance Billard's new head Mean Girl. We adore the diabolical Damien has crashed Manhattan to steer Jenny down an even darker road ( we all knew she had it in her - she just required the right ( mis ) direction ), and we are relying on the littlest Humphrey to truly mix things up when Season three continues. So Josh and Stephanie, we are hoping you give Jenny and her additional tempting story ( that's all the fixings of the "GG" we all know and love ) more air time than we have seen during the past. For us, the entire "we have a secret son" story failed to truly float our ship. This reminds us of when "Friends" attempted to pair Rachel and Joey together. Again, we like the show, and regardless of if you take our recommendation or not, we'll be right there eating it all up 'til the end.
