Whether it be indicating egregious Photoshop jobs on mag covers that plug positive body image or chiding female stars for their fighting, Jezebel isn't a typical gossip blog, and its online audience is now more than 11,000,000. "I hope that women that read my site are fans," Holmes asserted. "We're attempting to talk to them and provide content a lot of us haven't found elsewhere." Holmes asserted she is excited to come and talk to students about her life. "I don't need to sound humble, but I'm truly excited to just get into students' heads and find out more about their experiences with the Web," Holmes claimed. Ashlee Davis, the co-president of the chapter and a senior mag journalism major, claimed she hopes Holmes will talk about her background and experiences that led her to the Web. "I hope that she gives members of ED2010 and folks that attend an idea of how a mag site is truly run," Davis recounted. Emmy Vest, a freshman and photography major, admits that she occasionally checks her favourite blogs up to fifteen times per day. "Blogs make allowance for instant satisfaction," Vest recounted. "It takes a while for a mag to pen celeb tittle-tattle, while blogs make allowance for instant updates. All I should do is press the refresh button." Sarah Fleisher, a freshman PR major, asserted she is enthusiastic to hear Holmes talk. Fleisher is curious about why Holmes selects the content she does, as well as how she decides on the angles for her stories. Poll What place does the SU men's team finish in the Enormous East?
